JUNIOR MARKET SHOW RULES

 

  • Premium will be based on the number of entries

 

  • Weigh in 7.30am till 8.30am on the morning of the show.   No entries will be accepted after 8.30am

 

  • All market animals must have baby teeth.   Teeth may be inspected at weigh in

 

  • No lower age restriction and youth up to 18 years of age may exhibit

 

  • Show will start at 9am promptly

 

  • Any breed of goat may be shown

 

  • No limit to the number of animals that may be entered by each exhibitor, however only one animal registered in the show by any exhibitor may be exhibited in the championship drive.   Grand Champion will be named first and then any animal owned by the same exhibitor must be removed from the ring before the reserve is named

 

  • All males and unregistered females participating in the market division must have a scrapies ear tag from their herd or origin

 

  •  Classes will be divided by weight and the total number of classes will be based on the number of animals entered in the show

 

  •  Animals showing a pronounced defect or abnormality will be barred from the show

 

  • All decisions made by the judge and the show management will be final

Pee wee           8 and under

Showmanship awards will be announced at the show

 

Southeast Arkansas Goat Producers Association and Star City Fair Association will not be responsible for any liability from loss, damage or injury of person, livestock, or other property.   Southeast Arkansas Goat Producers Association reserve the right to set  reasonable standards for conduct by the exhibitors.
