Formed on 18th September 2006 by a group of goat farmers to promote the goat industry through EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS for the farmers, SEMINARS for the public interested in the goat industry, YOUTH PROGRAMS, and SHOWS designed for the PROMOTION, DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCTION and MARKETING of all breeds of goats.
The Goat Industry is one of the fastest growing agriculture industries in the United States and everyone, from the smallest farmer to the larger farmer can be sure of a growing market in the coming years. At this time the Unites States imports nearly 6 thousand metric tons of goat meat per year ........ and the demand is growing!!!!
